Value - the life defining factor

Value. First of all , value (for the purpose of this article) means the sense of worth or usefulness attached to an object, person, exercise or way of life.

It is important for us to value life as a whole, since it is from the life we are given that any utility and sucess we enjoy springs forth.

Currently a lot of people seem not to have reasons for living. All these stem from a failure to appreciate the value of things they have . Objects worthy of appreciation need not necessarily be tangible.

For example, one might not value his/her education, family, looks , sight, job , the list is endless. For someone who doesn't value his / her education, rather than such a person apply his/her knowledge to get to the next level, you may find such a person griping about how if only she had 'x' or 'y' and what he/she could have done with it.

Acknowledgment of the value contained in one's life heralds the extraction or achievement of maximum utility from it . Note - this does not happen overnight but is a gradual and cumulative process.

Our sense of value , ultimately, affects how we view life. If we have a low sense of value , we fail to see possibilities, continually fail to motivate people to do their best, continually refuse to acknowledge other people's worth - effectually lowering their potential, in some cases blacking them out totally.

If we truly value our lives and time as a whole, so many things will change . We will become conscious of the things that occupy most of our time and thoughts. Because at the end of the day, we will concentrate more on the things that mean the most to us .

Our sense of value : A heightened sense of value will lead us individually to assess our impact in our aociety, among our perrs , our family and the Nation as a whole . We will have individuals who will have increased productivity in the workplace , who generate more utility.

In all , we will have gained the ability to add more to our lives and world . Think about it .
